Fiona Morris graduated from Birmingham Dental School in 1982 and gained a Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in the same year
She entered General Practice, first in Summertown Oxford , then Churchdown near Gloucester and after a career break raising children, worked for the Community Dental Service. This included dealing with the dental needs of the hospitalised elderly, the young and old with psychiatric problems at Worcester Royal Hospital, and providing treatment at home visits for the disabled, young and old.
She, at this time set up a complete dental surgery to provide comprehensive treatment within the hospital for both ‘in’ and outpatients. Her special interest was working with speech and language therapists providing palatal lift, training appliances for stroke patients.
She also worked some sessions at Worcester Royal Infirmary ( Oral Surgery department) treating medically compromised patients , using IV sedation.
Fiona started working at the Clinic as a job share with Dean when their children were young and in 1994 joined us exclusively whilst continuing to provide home visits for patients from the practice when required.
